The referee ignored Yerdeki Yıldızlar's protests and gave Nuri Bekir a yellow card for diving instead. Nuri Bekir hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Yerdeki Yıldızlar's zone, Cezmi Onar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
