The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gürsel Göçmen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andaç Safih in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Doğukan Tekalp saved Rami from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Onur Sağıt successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gürsel Göçmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Onur Sağıt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rami's Gürsel Göçmen got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Giresun FK's goal looked a bit too open when Gürsel Göçmen came free, but Onur Sağıt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rami's Doğukan Tekalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaç Safih in the 70th minute of play. Baybora Vural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Giresun FK defense, Baybora Vural kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Onur Sağıt. The Giresun FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Onur Sağıt should have stopped the shot. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baybora Vural couldn't finish the play. Andaç Safih took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Doğukan Tekalp. Doğukan Tekalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The audience was convinced that Gürsel Göçmen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Onur Sağıt was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. Baybora Vural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giresun FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
