Andaç Safih recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andaç Safih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Seyfullah İşkembeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seyfullah İşkembeci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hüseyin Aktaş in the 15th minute. Giresun FK's Andaç Safih got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andaç Safih sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the match, Hüseyin Aktaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seyfullah İşkembeci. Ikizce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hüseyin Aktaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 31 played minutes Ikizce got a freekick which was hit by Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp. Hüseyin Aktaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfullah İşkembeci having to interfere. Andaç Safih received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Seyfullah İşkembeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hüseyin Aktaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfullah İşkembeci having to interfere. Hüseyin Aktaş who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Seyfullah İşkembeci when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Ikizce booed when Giresun FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Aktaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Zafer Temizcan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Giresun FK's Andaç Safih in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ikizce's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andaç Safih in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Seyfullah İşkembeci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ikizce fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Giresun FK. Ahmet Baki Gülerce stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Seyfullah İşkembeci. 2-0. In the 67th minute, Ikizce's Bektaş Ali Talu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 70th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Batüralp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ikizce defense, Hüseyin Aktaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Seyfullah İşkembeci. The Ikizce fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Seyfullah İşkembeci should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ikizce's zone, Andaç Safih stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seyfullah İşkembeci came out of the goal and Andaç Safih tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andaç Safih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Seyfullah İşkembeci having to interfere. Hüseyin Aktaş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Seyfullah İşkembeci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ikizce's Seyfullah İşkembeci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andaç Safih in the 83rd minute of play. After 87 minutes, Ata Umurbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ikizce and the Giresun FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Ikizce got a freekick which was hit by Ata Umurbay. Giresun FK's Andaç Safih got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Hüseyin Aktaş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute, Andaç Safih got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Ikizce's goal looked a bit too open when Andaç Safih came free, but Seyfullah İşkembeci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hüseyin Aktaş in the 99th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Seyfullah İşkembeci saved Ikizce from getting behind. Giresun FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
