In the 5th minute of the match, Namık Kemal Şevki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Güray Kabil saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Arif Bilge Müşfik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Güray Kabil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Namık Kemal Şevki in the 13th minute of the match. Belen's Tolga Koçaslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nurettin Adar in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Malazgirt Spor's zone, Namık Kemal Şevki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Güray Kabil came out of the goal and Namık Kemal Şevki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Arif Bilge Müşfik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tolga Koçaslan was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Sergen Sait kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Güray Kabil. That made the score 3-0 in the 32 minute of play. Belen's Tolga Koçaslan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Bilge Müşfik in the 36th minute of play. Tolga Koçaslan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arif Bilge Müşfik in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Tolunay Taşkıner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tolga Koçaslan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arif Bilge Müşfik's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Tolunay Taşkıner struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tolga Koçaslan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malazgirt Spor. The supporters of Belen booed when Malazgirt Spor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nurettin Adar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aytaç İcabi in the 47th minute of play forced Malazgirt Spor's goalkeeper Güray Kabil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Namık Kemal Şevki to make the kick off. When Sergen Sait fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Belen's protests and gave Sergen Sait a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Belen's zone, Demirhan İhtişam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tolga Koçaslan came out of the goal and Demirhan İhtişam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arif Bilge Müşfik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolga Koçaslan having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Tolunay Taşkıner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Belen's Arda Sargan got a free kick in the 58th minute. Arif Bilge Müşfik in the 60thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tolga Koçaslan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nurettin Adar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Tolga Koçaslan made a huge save. Güray Kabil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coşkun Tengiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tolga Koçaslan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Malazgirt Spor's Arif Bilge Müşfik shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. After some careless play in the Malazgirt Spor defense, Namık Kemal Şevki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Güray Kabil. The Malazgirt Spor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Güray Kabil should have stopped the shot. But to his dismay, Sergen Sait quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 93rd minute Arda Sargan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güray Kabil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malazgirt Spor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
