After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Samim Topçam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giresun FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Samim Topçam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Altan İncirli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th minute, Andaç Safih made a precise shot to the right of Altan İncirli. YıldırımBosna SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Hüseyin Aktaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Altan İncirli having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hüseyin Aktaş in the 24th minute of play forced YıldırımBosna SK's goalkeeper Altan İncirli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute, Giresun FK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erman Köklem fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 46th minute Erman Köklem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur Sağıt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 55 minutes of play, YıldırımBosna SK's Erman Köklem made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Onur Sağıt was left in no man's land by his defense there! Onur Sağıt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erman Köklem's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Altan İncirli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andaç Safih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nuri Gagauz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Onur Sağıt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the game, Ahmet Korcan Eronat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. One of Giresun FK:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of YıldırımBosna SK:s goal. Giresun FK:s Onur Sağıt showed great skill when he stopped Esen Kırca:s penalty. Nuri Gagauz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Onur Sağıt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Onur Sağıt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuri Gagauz in the 97th minute of play. Erman Köklem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Onur Sağıt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The YıldırımBosna SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Giresun FK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
