The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Battal Gazi Yavuzalp during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdi Akman in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baykan Tezalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Selami Tosunoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uskup SK's protests and gave Selami Tosunoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Navy blue street booed when Uskup SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Selami Tosunoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. İlker Rahmet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mustafa Ekrem Esenboğa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Baykan Tezalp made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Kenan Cerit sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Battal Gazi Yavuzalp in the 42nd minute of play forced Navy blue street's goalkeeper Baykan Tezalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdi Akman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baykan Tezalp having to interfere. Baykan Tezalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Battal Gazi Yavuzalp in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Yusuf Bahadır Falcıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bento Reza was the one to do the kick off. Baykan Tezalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdi Akman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Baykan Tezalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Gazi Yavuzalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 69th match minute, Uskup SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenan Cerit to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute, Bento Reza reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mustafa Ekrem Esenboğa. The goal made the score 0-2. 79 minutes into the match, Abdi Akman notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Navy blue street's Baykan Tezalp. Baykan Tezalp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Navy blue street's Baykan Tezalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Battal Gazi Yavuzalp in the 84th minute of play.
