After having played for 16 minutes, Alp Orsel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sütlüce FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alp Orsel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Sütlüce FK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Alp Orsel hit a great ball. Sütlüce FK's Ahmet Turan Ortun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamdullah Kamuran in the 25th minute of play. When Ahmet Davut Tanyeri came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Sütlüce FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Davut Tanyeri couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Hamdullah Kamuran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Turan Ortun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zikri İlkan went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Alp Orsel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Korcan Hacılar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmet Davut Tanyeri in the 44th minute. After the first half Galatasaray were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alp Orsel in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Korcan Hacılar saved Galatasaray from getting behind. Alp Orsel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korcan Hacılar having to interfere. With a little luck, Sütlüce FK's Ahmet Turan Ortun got control of the ball when Zikri İlkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Galatasaray's Korcan Hacılar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alp Orsel in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Sütlüce FK's goal looked a bit too open when Hamdullah Kamuran came free, but Ahmet Turan Ortun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Korcan Hacılar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Davut Tanyeri's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Ahmet Davut Tanyeri put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Korcan Hacılar. Sütlüce FK were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Galatasaray to leave the ground with a draw.
