In the 7th minute Aydemir Özcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kudret Toycan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galip Cezar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bilgin Visali took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aytaç Vecdi. Ardanuc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match, Aydemir Özcan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Kudret Toycan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kudret Toycan came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Ardanuc's Aydemir Özcan. But to his dismay, Aydemir Özcan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 21st minute Aydemir Özcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kudret Toycan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gencal Zade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Kudret Toycan made a huge save. A collision led to Derbent getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Tuğrul Acunman hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Tuğrul Acunman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kudret Toycan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aydemir Özcan, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After a rather tough play, Derbent's Mustafa Orhan Kanver got a free kick in the 29th minute. The supporters of Ardanuc booed when Derbent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkem Vakkasoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Ardanuc's Abdullatif Kavaş tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ardanuc's Aytaç Vecdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Galip Cezar in the 33rd minute of play. If Bayındır Mehmet Keçeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ardanuc booed when Derbent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkem Vakkasoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Derbent's goalkeeper Kudret Toycan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayındır Mehmet Keçeli in the 43rd minute of play forced Ardanuc's goalkeeper Aytaç Vecdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Derbent's zone, Aydemir Özcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kudret Toycan came out of the goal and Aydemir Özcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batıray Kerimhan's late challenge caught a Derbent's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batıray Kerimhan helped the player get up and apologised. Batıray Kerimhan hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
After having played for 52 minutes, Aydemir Özcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ardanuc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aydemir Özcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencal Zade in the 54th minute of play forced Derbent's goalkeeper Kudret Toycan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kudret Toycan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Ardanuc's goalkeeper Aytaç Vecdi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Galip Cezar. After 76 minutes, Süruri Birsen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardanuc and the Derbent players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Ardanuc got a freekick which was hit by Süruri Birsen. Bayındır Mehmet Keçeli received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aytaç Vecdi came out and tried to block the shot, but Bayındır Mehmet Keçeli slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 77th minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Bayındır Mehmet Keçeli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Derbent's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bayındır Mehmet Keçeli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Bayındır Mehmet Keçeli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aytaç Vecdi, passed just outside the right post. Galip Cezar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aytaç Vecdi having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Derbent players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ardanuc.
