When Müjdat Ongay came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sirkeci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Müjdat Ongay couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Müjdat Ongay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Eski Açık Sarı Desene's Ahmet Haşim Kara got control of the ball when Özbek Şentürk tried to sneak it across the goal line.
