An unexpectedly hard shot by Birkan Karabey in the 18th minute of play forced Sirkeci's goalkeeper Mahir İzhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birkan Karabey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mahir İzhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Müjdat Ongay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Birkan Karabey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mahir İzhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kadir FC defense, Özbek Şentürk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Okanay İzgi. The Kadir FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Okanay İzgi should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Kadir FC's Kıvanç İdris got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Boğaçhan Nasuh fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kadir FC's protests and gave Boğaçhan Nasuh a yellow card for diving instead. Birkan Karabey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mahir İzhan having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Faruk Nafiz Tanrıverdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sirkeci's zone, Haldun Gündem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mahir İzhan came out of the goal and Haldun Gündem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haşmet Orkan hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Sirkeci's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
