Ahmet Arif Taykara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Altay Yağızhan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuratay Akşit having to make a save. When Berkant Başaran came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the İZMİT SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berkant Başaran couldn't finish the play. If Altay Yağızhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kubilay Dengizer kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Çağrı Maksum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuratay Akşit having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bozdogan's goalkeeper Okan Eripek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Bozdogan booed when İZMİT SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferhan Balaban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 62nd match minute, Bozdogan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağrı Maksum to maneuver through the defense. Kubilay Dengizer took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nuratay Akşit. Nuratay Akşit dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. A collision led to Bozdogan getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Seyrani Vefa hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferhan Balaban in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Okan Eripek saved Bozdogan from getting behind. Altay Yağızhan in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuratay Akşit, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 74 minutes of play, Bozdogan's Altay Yağızhan made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nuratay Akşit was left in no man's land by his defense there! Altay Yağızhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Nuratay Akşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, İZMİT SK's Nuratay Akşit got control of the ball when Çağrı Maksum tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Bozdogan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhun Naci to maneuver through the defense. It was beautiful to see İZMİT SK's Halil Can Gezer in action when he in the 85th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Altay Yağızhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Çağrı Maksum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nuratay Akşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enis Bozer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Altay Yağızhan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Nuratay Akşit skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The İZMİT SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Bozdogan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
