Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cláudio Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehdi Tümay in the 12th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Sait Kongar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baykuş's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sait Kongar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute, Mehdi Tümay fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Cláudio Guerra, passed just outside the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Baykuş's Utkan Saim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cláudio Guerra. That made the score 1-0 after 24 minutes of play. Saruhan Başbuğoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serdar Hüsrev having to interfere. Altay's Cláudio Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Altay from getting a goal against them. Cláudio Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mehdi Tümay in the 33rd minute. Saltuk Vedat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serdar Hüsrev having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Ali Artan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Serdar Hüsrev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Altay's goal looked a bit too open when Bilal Ünver came free, but Cláudio Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Altay's Saruhan Başbuğoğlu got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Saruhan Başbuğoğlu to make the kick off. Cláudio Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bilal Ünver in the 53rd minute of the match. Ali Artan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Cláudio Guerra came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Baykuş's Utkan Saim. But to his dismay, Utkan Saim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Akay Zeki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Serdar Hüsrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Akay Zeki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Baykuş's Serdar Hüsrev got control of the ball when Ali Artan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Guerra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferhat Kadrican in the 70th minute of the match. In the 74th of the match, Ali Artan tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Serdar Hüsrev got in the way and made a wonderful save. Ali Artan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Artan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Serdar Hüsrev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saruhan Başbuğoğlu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 82nd minute. Altay's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a defensive mix-up in Baykuş's zone, Akay Zeki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serdar Hüsrev came out of the goal and Akay Zeki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 86 minutes of play, Baykuş's Bilal Ünver made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cláudio Guerra was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 89th minute, Zülfü Bircan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saruhan Başbuğoğlu came free in the 92nd minute and tried to tip the ball over Serdar Hüsrev, but to the joy of Baykuş's supporters the ball went over. Ferhat Kadrican struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Cláudio Guerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Baykuş. When the referee blew the final whistle, Baykuş could leave the field as winners, despite Altay having more of the ball for most of the match.
