Güral Özdinçer came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Gündoğdu's Turabi Umay. But to his dismay, Turabi Umay quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 16th minute, Olcay İzci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güral Özdinçer was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 18th minute Arda Keçeci suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Rüstem Tanören charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rüstem Tanören the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gündoğdu made a substitution. Bünyamin Akalın replaced Arda Keçeci. In the 20th minute, Rüstem Tanören hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hüseyin Can Özalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rüstem Tanören in the 23rd minute. After 24 played minutes Gündoğdu got a freekick which was hit by Abdulaziz Okatan. If Özden Reşat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, KIVANÇ's Hüseyin Cahit Şafakoğlu got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özden Reşat in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güral Özdinçer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Güral Özdinçer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özden Reşat, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Özden Reşat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vahap Özsahin made a kick off. Vahap Özsahin scored 1-4 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hüseyin Can Özalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Güral Özdinçer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turabi Umay in the 56th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özden Reşat got free with Güral Özdinçer in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Özden Reşat put it in 1-5 from a short distance just to the right of Güral Özdinçer. KIVANÇ's Güral Özdinçer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save KIVANÇ from getting a goal against them. After 78 minutes, Özden Reşat made it 1-6 with a short kick to the right side. KIVANÇ's Güral Özdinçer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Özden Reşat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Güral Özdinçer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Özden Reşat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Özden Reşat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Güral Özdinçer having to interfere. The KIVANÇ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Gündoğdu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
