The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, TRABZON UNİTED's Hidayet Dilan got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Fadıl Uçarer's late challenge caught a RED BULLS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fadıl Uçarer helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Ahmet Baki Yalınalp put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Tuna Özerkmen. If Yakup Mümtaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tuna Özerkmen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

TRABZON UNİTED's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
