After 15 minutes, Özgür Ayaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sivasli and the Corum players grew even worse after the yellow card. Binali Elmacı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Emin Akdemirci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arif Ozan Erben kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Ümit Çiftçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meriç Yetkin having to interfere. In the 32nd match minute, Sivasli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sümer Horasanlı to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Ahmet Yahya Çiftçibaşı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Yahya Çiftçibaşı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ümit Çiftçi got free with Meriç Yetkin in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tolgahan Mecnun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Arif Ozan Erben notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sivasli's Meriç Yetkin. Meriç Yetkin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Mehmet Emin Akdemirci got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tolgahan Mecnun made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Corum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sezgin Fırat to maneuver through the defense. Güngör Bardakçıoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Sakut Belen hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the match, Corum's goalkeeper Binali Elmacı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mehmet Emin Akdemirci. Tolgahan Mecnun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ahmet Yahya Çiftçibaşı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ümit Çiftçi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Meriç Yetkin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corum's Ümit Çiftçi got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Binali Elmacı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tolgahan Mecnun's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Ümit Çiftçi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Meriç Yetkin having to interfere. Sakut Belen hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ahmet Yahya Çiftçibaşı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Meriç Yetkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Binali Elmacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolgahan Mecnun in the 95th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Corum had won after a very even match.
