Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mithat Tuğkun took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mithat Tuğkun in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mazhar Akdeniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. mersin's Mazhar Akdeniz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mithat Tuğkun in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Mithat Tuğkun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mazhar Akdeniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 9th match minute, mersin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ecevit Sulhi to maneuver through the defense. When Mürsel Özgur came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Cavdarhisar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mürsel Özgur couldn't finish the play. Cavdarhisar's Mürsel Özgur got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mazhar Akdeniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mürsel Özgur in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Suphi Murtaza got free with Saadettin Vahapoğlu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fevzi Coşkun hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th match minute, Cavdarhisar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mithat Tuğkun to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Mithat Tuğkun cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mazhar Akdeniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mazhar Akdeniz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mithat Tuğkun's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After some careless play in the Cavdarhisar defense, Suphi Murtaza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saadettin Vahapoğlu. The Cavdarhisar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saadettin Vahapoğlu should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ecevit Sulhi to strike the kick off in the second half. Mithat Tuğkun in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mazhar Akdeniz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Türker Alanson charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Türker Alanson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 60 minutes into the game, Ecevit Sulhi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Saadettin Vahapoğlu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 2-5 became the score in the 66th minute when Mürsel Özgur elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When mersin's Suphi Murtaza in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cavdarhisar's goalie prevented a goal. Cavdarhisar's Ferit Besim got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mürsel Özgur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazhar Akdeniz having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Mithat Tuğkun made a precise shot to the right of Mazhar Akdeniz. mersin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-6. After a rather tough play, Cavdarhisar's Özal Candeğer got a free kick in the 85th minute. Oğuzer Savtuna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute Suphi Murtaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saadettin Vahapoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the game, Mürsel Özgur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mazhar Akdeniz. Mürsel Özgur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-7. Saadettin Vahapoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suphi Murtaza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When mersin's Suphi Murtaza in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cavdarhisar's goalie prevented a goal. Cavdarhisar's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
