The crowd rose to their feet as Karşıyaka Kuzey Cephesi's Tuncay Yürüker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Refik Akbayrak. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. ☪ B O Z K U R T ☪'s Refik Akbayrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save ☪ B O Z K U R T ☪ from getting a goal against them. Göktan Özbilir took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Refik Akbayrak. Refik Akbayrak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Refik Akbayrak made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Göktan Özbilir sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the game, Karşıyaka Kuzey Cephesi's Mithat Tuyuğ nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Refik Akbayrak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saadettin Yağızhan during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karşıyaka Kuzey Cephesi's Saadettin Yağızhan got a free kick in the 39th minute. Ali Faruk Zaim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ali Faruk Zaim couldn't finish the play. 59 minutes into the match, ☪ B O Z K U R T ☪'s goal looked a bit too open when Mithat Tuyuğ came free, but Refik Akbayrak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. During the 88th minute of the match Saadettin Yağızhan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Saadettin Yağızhan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th match minute, Karşıyaka Kuzey Cephesi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saadettin Yağızhan to maneuver through the defense. When Tuncay Yürüker was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 90 minutes had been played. Tuncay Yürüker kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ahmet Hakan Oran in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mustafa Ali Özerek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. ☪ B O Z K U R T ☪'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
