The wind increased when Davut Lefter made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Persembe FK's zone, Rıfkı Nuralp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tan Engintalay came out of the goal and Rıfkı Nuralp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osman Nuri Afak stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Köksal Tokhan's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Rıfkı Nuralp fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Köksal Tokhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Osman Nuri Afak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Köksal Tokhan's late challenge caught a Fenerbahçe SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Köksal Tokhan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fenerbahçe SK booed when Persembe FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tan Engintalay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fenerbahçe SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Persembe FK.
