The supporters of ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ booed when Eskisehirspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yılmaz Onuk didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute Erdem İmam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Bilge Sonat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samet Radi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Hamdi Kerem in the 21st minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ahmet Hamdi Kerem kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Samet Radi. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. In the 30th match minute, ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Hamdi Kerem to maneuver through the defense. After 31 minutes, Ziya Ergenç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ and the Eskisehirspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arif Akkanoğlu in the 55th minute of play forced Eskisehirspor's goalkeeper Samet Radi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Hamdi Kerem's late challenge caught a Eskisehirspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eskisehirspor's Samet Radi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Hamdi Kerem in the 67th minute of play. ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ's Ahmet Hamdi Kerem got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erdem İmam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Erdem İmam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Yücel Aral hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, ⓜⓤⓢⓗⓛⓔⓔ ⓢⓚ's goalkeeper Mehmet Bilge Sonat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fehmi Secaattin. Erdem İmam struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Mehmet Bilge Sonat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eskisehirspor. Erdem İmam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
