Spectators: 6636 (Terracing: 5636, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Johannes Geraerts got the match started through his kick off. Ali Galip Kambay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bahri Doğanten. REAL MARDİN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 8 in the game by Johannes Geraerts from a close distance when the talented Gökcan Taykara managed to make a qualified save. Menderes SK's players were relieved. Gökcan Taykara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Birol Adıvar in the 9th minute. Atacan Ceberut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bahri Doğanten having to interfere. Atacan Ceberut received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Bahri Doğanten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th match minute, REAL MARDİN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Remzi to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Gökcan Taykara managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when REAL MARDİN's Johannes Geraerts fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Giraldo Maysonet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökcan Taykara having to interfere. Johannes Geraerts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gökcan Taykara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. After 28 minutes of play, REAL MARDİN's Johannes Geraerts made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gökcan Taykara was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Menderes SK's goalkeeper Gökcan Taykara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mustafa Birol Adıvar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gökcan Taykara having to make a save. If Johannes Geraerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birol Davarcı's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gökcan Taykara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Johannes Geraerts had several of the Menderes SK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 40 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Gökcan Taykara as he didn't even see the shot coming. With his leg Gökcan Taykara managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when REAL MARDİN's Johannes Geraerts fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmet Arif Eskioğlu made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Atacan Ceberut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökcan Taykara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johannes Geraerts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Johannes Geraerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Gökcan Taykara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Korcan Karlukhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Isaias Xabel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gökcan Taykara. Menderes SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Xabel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johannes Geraerts in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gökcan Taykara saved Menderes SK from getting behind. In the 75th minute, Ahmet Arif Eskioğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gökcan Taykara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giraldo Maysonet in the 79th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Menderes SK's goal looked a bit too open when Johannes Geraerts came free, but Gökcan Taykara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gökcan Taykara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Geraerts in the 83rd minute of play. Mustafa Birol Adıvar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Geraerts in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gökcan Taykara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Gafur Okay fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menderes SK's protests and gave Gafur Okay a yellow card for diving instead. After 87 played minutes Menderes SK got a freekick which was hit by Gafur Okay. Giraldo Maysonet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökcan Taykara having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, REAL MARDİN's Johannes Geraerts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gökcan Taykara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. REAL MARDİN walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
