Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Johannes Geraerts made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the match, Elmadag's goal looked a bit too open when Giraldo Maysonet came free, but Cihangir Cihansah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. REAL MARDİN's Isaias Xabel got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cihangir Cihansah came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by REAL MARDİN's Johannes Geraerts. But to his dismay, Johannes Geraerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Johannes Geraerts might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cihangir Cihansah. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johannes Geraerts ran back to his position shaking his head. Pekin Hafızoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Aysan İmamoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Elmadag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aysan İmamoğlu couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the game, Arın Pozan recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bahri Doğanten. Arın Pozan showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Saruhan Şenol in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by REAL MARDİN's Mustafa Birol Adıvar. The supporters of REAL MARDİN booed when Elmadag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Reha Özdinç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes, Zülfikar Yankı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the REAL MARDİN and the Elmadag players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, REAL MARDİN's Zülfikar Yankı got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Geraerts in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cihangir Cihansah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Korcan Karlukhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. REAL MARDİN's supporters rose to their feet, but Korcan Karlukhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cihangir Cihansah breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st match minute, Elmadag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Reha Özdinç to maneuver through the defense. Cihangir Cihansah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giraldo Maysonet in the 42nd minute of play. If Arın Pozan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bahri Doğanten stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arın Pozan's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. The supporters of REAL MARDİN booed when Elmadag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Semih Başesgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arın Pozan made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in REAL MARDİN's zone, Aysan İmamoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bahri Doğanten came out of the goal and Aysan İmamoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Elmadag's Cihangir Cihansah got control of the ball when Johannes Geraerts tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, REAL MARDİN's Johannes Geraerts dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After having played for 70 minutes, Johannes Geraerts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. REAL MARDİN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johannes Geraerts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johannes Geraerts in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cihangir Cihansah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute of the match, Johannes Geraerts tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cihangir Cihansah saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. REAL MARDİN's Mustafa Birol Adıvar got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Gökay Kaynak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. REAL MARDİN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Elmadag the free kick. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for REAL MARDİN! REAL MARDİN's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
