But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şensoy Sağman couldn't finish the play. After 18 minutes, Sedat Kocakalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mantar Fc and the Corlu players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mantar Fc getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Sedat Kocakalp hit a great ball. Berat Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilgehan İksir in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Mantar Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Şanver Sarp came free, but Berat Güneş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Ünsal Kabil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berat Güneş. Mantar Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ünsal Kabil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Corlu's Şanver Sarp got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Corlu's Şahin Türkmen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Berat Güneş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 38 minutes, Dinç Ülküm successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 41st minute Şanver Sarp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berat Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atilla Tarkan Masuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 47th minute, Ünsal Kabil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Çakır Tanver stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Corlu got a freekick which was hit by Yiğit Can Seyran. Berat Güneş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şahin Türkmen in the 61st minute. A collision led to Mantar Fc getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Sezen Sarduç hit a great ball. Dinç Ülküm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çakır Tanver, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 66 minutes into the match, Çakır Tanver had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dinç Ülküm. Corlu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Çakır Tanver was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ünsal Kabil got free with Berat Güneş in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Şahin Türkmen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Berat Güneş made a huge save.
