Burhan Sebil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abdi Akkaya struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. David Billock didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yaprakli SK. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Sebil in the 16th minute of play forced Pendik FK's goalkeeper David Billock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Mutlu Sanak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gani Kemal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cebrail Tezalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Yaprakli SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Abdi Akkaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Billock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
