With an all-out effort, Ahirkapi's Gani Kemal threw himself towards the right post 3 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aşır Uzhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Abdullah Civanmert charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abdullah Civanmert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th match minute, Ahirkapi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aşır Uzhan to maneuver through the defense. Ahirkapi's Cevat Serdengeçti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdi Akkaya in the 14th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Burhan Sebil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cevat Serdengeçti was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burhan Sebil in the 21st minute of play forced Ahirkapi's goalkeeper Cevat Serdengeçti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cevat Serdengeçti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdi Akkaya in the 45th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Selahaddin Bilkan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ahirkapi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yaprakli SK the free kick. A collision led to Ahirkapi getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Selahaddin Bilkan hit a great ball. The Ahirkapi players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yaprakli SK were winning 0-2.

54 minutes into the match, Ahirkapi's goal looked a bit too open when Burhan Sebil came free, but Cevat Serdengeçti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ahirkapi's Selahaddin Bilkan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cevat Serdengeçti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Burhan Sebil, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. The supporters of Yaprakli SK booed when Ahirkapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saruhan Ergüvenç didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aşır Uzhan in the 67th minute of play forced Yaprakli SK's goalkeeper Gani Kemal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Yaprakli SK got a freekick which was hit by Volkan Aytolun. When Semail Behram came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Ahirkapi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Semail Behram couldn't finish the play. Utku Sarim took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cevat Serdengeçti. Ahirkapi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gani Kemal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Uzhan in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Burhan Sebil who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ahirkapi's Cevat Serdengeçti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yaprakli SK's zone, Semail Behram stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gani Kemal came out of the goal and Semail Behram tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Abdullah Civanmert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Yaprakli SK booed when Ahirkapi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ergin Onay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Utku Sarim was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 97th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
