Hasan Birtan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ünal İmge in the 15th minute of the match. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kirikkale's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Aykut Kolçak was slow to take the kick. During this time SeMMuR FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 17th minute, Uluç Aynacı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SeMMuR FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 21st minute, Aykut Kolçak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hasan Birtan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 23 minutes, Rafet Gürtuna made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Kirikkale's Hasan Birtan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Fikret Çetinoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aykut Kolçak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gökcan Kiray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Hasan Birtan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kirikkale's zone, Gökcan Kiray stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hasan Birtan came out of the goal and Gökcan Kiray tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aykut Kolçak struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Hasan Birtan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SeMMuR FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Güngör Uğursoy to make the kick off. Müfit Yılhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökçek Kutluay having to interfere. Ünal İmge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Hasan Birtan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Müfit Yılhan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The crowd rose to their feet as SeMMuR FC's Ünal İmge slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hasan Birtan. That made the score 1-5 after 73 minutes of play. Hasan Birtan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafet Gürtuna's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. With a little luck, Kirikkale's Hasan Birtan got control of the ball when Gökcan Kiray tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gökcan Kiray could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Hasan Birtan made a huge save. Hasan Birtan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gökcan Kiray went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aykut Kolçak in the 87th minute of play forced Kirikkale's goalkeeper Hasan Birtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gökcan Kiray got free with Hasan Birtan in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Ünal İmge managed to get in a good position for a shot. SeMMuR FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ünal İmge was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hasan Birtan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gökcan Kirays short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Hasan Birtan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ünal İmge in the 93rd minute of play forced Kirikkale's goalkeeper Hasan Birtan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SeMMuR FC played a much better game than Kirikkale and deserved their victory. The Kirikkale players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
