After 26 played minutes, FC GG's Şerafettin Satılmış shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hasan Birtan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Denizhan Ruhittin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Denizhan Ruhittin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kirikkale's Cemalettin Şahinhan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Güngör Uğursoy was the one to do the kick off. Müfit Yılhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Çağdaş Osmanlıoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Kirikkale fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Çağdaş Osmanlıoğlu couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute of the match, Genco Şevket sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Hasan Birtan showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Anıl Ozan Yıldırımtürk charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anıl Ozan Yıldırımtürk the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Kirikkale getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Kutlualp Eskici kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Güngör Uğursoy hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Kirikkale's Hasan Birtan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İskender Şahinkan in the 87th minute of play. Cemalettin Şahinhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Selçuk Tekin having to interfere. After 89 played minutes FC GG got a freekick which was hit by Kutlualp Eskici. 4-0 became the score in the 97th minute when Güngör Uğursoy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.
