Orhan Veli Okseven might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Çağrı Ongay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orhan Veli Okseven ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Cemaller fk's Baran Bilge Cumhur got a free kick in the 29th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Orhan Veli Okseven kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ali Çağrı Ongay. That made the score 1-0 in the 30 minute of play. Gürsel Özertem kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Rıdvan Ula showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gürsel Özertem in the 35th minute of the match. If Cosmin Nisipeanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
