Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sakut Akar started the match with the kick off. Utkan Ülker who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Mithat Kocak when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice moves Utkan Ülker could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Mithat Kocak however easily saved by the left post. After 16 played minutes TrabzonSpor got a freekick which was hit by Özal Mübarek. In the 20th minute Sakut Akar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ecevit Fidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sungurhan Başbuğ in the 27th minute of play forced Süleymaniye SK's goalkeeper Ecevit Fidan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. TrabzonSpor's Mithat Kocak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save TrabzonSpor from getting a goal against them. Mithat Kocak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Utkan Ülker in the 32nd minute of the match. Mithat Kocak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bilgehan Bilginer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TrabzonSpor's Mithat Kocak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Orhan Koral in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Kunter Lebib was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TrabzonSpor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Süleymaniye SK the free kick. In the 36th minute, Kunter Lebib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to TrabzonSpor getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Sungurhan Başbuğ hit a great ball. Utkan Ülker's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Mithat Kocak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 41 minutes into the match, Süleymaniye SK's goal looked a bit too open when Özal Mübarek came free, but Ecevit Fidan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Utkan Ülker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mithat Kocak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Utkan Ülker was the one to do the kick off. Ecevit Fidan came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by TrabzonSpor's Sungurhan Başbuğ. But to his dismay, Sungurhan Başbuğ quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Utkan Ülker in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mithat Kocak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mithat Kocak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Utkan Ülker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Bilgehan Bilginer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Süleymaniye SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilgehan Bilginer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mithat Kocak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Süleymaniye SK booed when TrabzonSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Özal Mübarek didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 77th minute of the match Utkan Ülker sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mithat Kocak skillfully saved the ball. Ecevit Fidan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çakır Şeref in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th match minute, Süleymaniye SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uygur Soysan to maneuver through the defense. Sungurhan Başbuğ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ecevit Fidan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Utkan Ülker in the 87th minute of play forced TrabzonSpor's goalkeeper Mithat Kocak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecevit Fidan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sakut Akar in the 88th minute. Mithat Kocak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Utkan Ülker, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Utkan Ülker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mithat Kocak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Although Süleymaniye SK had been in control for most of the match, TrabzonSpor still came away with the win.
