Utkan Ülker started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Utkan Ülker in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rıdvan Ula saved Mezarlikbasi from getting behind. Süleymaniye SK's Ecevit Fidan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orhan Veli Okseven in the 6th minute of play. Uygur Soysan hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Giray Çevikcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ecevit Fidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, Mezarlikbasi's Orhan Veli Okseven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ecevit Fidan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 20th minute, Giray Çevikcan made a precise shot to the right of Ecevit Fidan. Süleymaniye SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Mezarlikbasi's Oğuzer Haneci got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Şimşek Harmancı's late challenge caught a Süleymaniye SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The coaching staff of Süleymaniye SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Altay Tomurcuk had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Süleymaniye SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alaaddin Malgır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 93rd minute Orhan Veli Okseven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ecevit Fidan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Süleymaniye SK's Ecevit Fidan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Kanat in the 95th minute of play. Giray Çevikcan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ecevit Fidan firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mezarlikbasi played a much better game than Süleymaniye SK and deserved their victory. The Süleymaniye SK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
