In the 4th match minute, TrabzonSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Başaran İplikçi to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute of the match, Ege Mülayim got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mithat Kocak was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, TrabzonSpor's Mithat Kocak got control of the ball when Ege Mülayim tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, TrabzonSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Ciompec came free, but Mithat Kocak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wincenty Ochabski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nizam Barkan in the 25th minute of the match. International FC's Wincenty Ochabski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nizam Barkan in the 28th minute of play. If Sungurhan Başbuğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, International FC's Şansal Ökkeş got a free kick in the 31st minute. The supporters of TrabzonSpor booed when International FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şansal Ökkeş didn't get a good kick on the ball. TrabzonSpor's Mithat Kocak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maxim Ciompec in the 36th minute of play. Duran Sanak charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duran Sanak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Duran Sanak hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Mithat Kocak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ege Mülayim went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Wincenty Ochabski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nizam Barkan in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nizam Barkan was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Nizam Barkan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wincenty Ochabski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. International FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nizam Barkan 51 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. 54 minutes into the match, Perry De Ryck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mithat Kocak. TrabzonSpor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perry De Ryck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. A collision led to TrabzonSpor getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Kunter Lebib hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Perry De Ryck in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mithat Kocak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. TrabzonSpor's Mithat Kocak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Perry De Ryck in the 69th minute of play. Ahmet Hayri Karasu made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TrabzonSpor's Sungurhan Başbuğ. Mithat Kocak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Ciompec, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. 74 minutes into the match, TrabzonSpor's goal looked a bit too open when Perry De Ryck came free, but Mithat Kocak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. International FC's Halis Özguc took a good shot, in the 77th minute, which hit the crossbar above Mithat Kocak's head, and flew over the goal. TrabzonSpor's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by International FC. During the 78th minute of the match Şansal Ökkeş completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Şansal Ökkeş a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mithat Kocak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ege Mülayim, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Çakır Şeref hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute Maxim Ciompec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mithat Kocak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mithat Kocak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Ciompec in the 87th minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Nizam Barkan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the International FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
