Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Poyraz Işınay took the kick off in the first half of the match. Kılıç Keramettin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Poyraz Işınay, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Poyraz Işınays short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Kılıç Keramettin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aybar Olcaytug struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Kılıç Keramettin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silifke. Kılıç Keramettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poyraz Işınay in the 16th minute of play. If Poyraz Işınay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 30th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Seyfi Sabuncu to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute of the match Tayyar Gazir sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kılıç Keramettin skillfully saved the ball. Kılıç Keramettin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Poyraz Işınay in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute Poyraz Işınay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kılıç Keramettin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 played minutes Galatasaray got a freekick which was hit by Ali Galip Kutyan. In the 42nd match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nusrettin Kirmanşah to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th minute, Ali Baran Sekib hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nusrettin Kirmanşah kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Poyraz Işınay in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Kılıç Keramettin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahmet Göktuğ Tufan to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Göktuğ Tufan got free with Hamdullah Tapgaç in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ahmet Baki Ermiye fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Silifke's protests and gave Ahmet Baki Ermiye a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Baki Ermiye hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Hamdullah Tapgaç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mutlu Uluman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galatasaray's Nusrettin Kirmanşah got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Poyraz Işınay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kılıç Keramettin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Poyraz Işınay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silifke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Silifke's Hakan Böke got a free kick in the 65th minute. Tayyar Gazir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 80th minute, Ahmet Ceyhan Korkutalp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Poyraz Işınay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Galatasaray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Seyfi Sabuncu to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Göktuğ Tufan in the 90th minute of play forced Silifke's goalkeeper Hamdullah Tapgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Ahmet Göktuğ Tufan took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Hamdullah Tapgaç to make any attempt to save it. Galatasaray's Kılıç Keramettin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tayyar Gazir in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Poyraz Işınay came free, but Kılıç Keramettin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
