In the 3rd minute Tayyar Gazir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anibal Niguel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aybar Olcaytug in the 5th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe SK's goalkeeper Anibal Niguel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamdullah Tapgaç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doğuhan Akova showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 90 minute of play. After 92 played minutes Fenerbahçe SK got a freekick which was hit by Doğuhan Akova. Fenerbahçe SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
