After 20 minutes of play, Fenerbahçe SK's Ali Emir Özdeş made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Suphi Baytekin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Erkut Yavuzalp hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Serhat Akın managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fenerbahçe SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Serhat Akın was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Suphi Baytekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Despite this Suphi Baytekin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bahadır Yeğin to make the kick off. In the 76th minute, Cesur Işık fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When Ali Emir Özdeş in the 81st play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Suphi Baytekin kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-8 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. A collision led to ayşe gücüüü getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Cavit Atasoy hit a great ball. Suphi Baytekin had great luck who in the 92ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Ali Emir Özdeş from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Ali Emir Özdeşs short, quick shot in the 94thth minute got Suphi Baytekin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fenerbahçe SK's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
