Suphi Baytekin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gökmen Ulusu in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bahadır Yeğin in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tamer Koral prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Tortuga's Fazıl Gemici got a free kick in the 40th minute. Alparslan Yunus hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Tortuga's zone, Bahadır Yeğin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamer Koral came out of the goal and Bahadır Yeğin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Suphi Baytekin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alparslan Yunus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Tortuga's goal looked a bit too open when Bahadır Yeğin came free, but Tamer Koral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tamer Koral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bahadır Yeğin, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Gökmen Ulusu scored 4-1 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Suphi Baytekin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
