In the 13th minute Aybar Olcaytug shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyd Rıfkı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tolgahan Erdönmez charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tolgahan Erdönmez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Tolgahan Erdönmez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ahmet Efe Ulukaan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdullah Tapgaç having to interfere. Hamdullah Tapgaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadim Özduran in the 17th minute of the match. Hamdullah Tapgaç was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ahmet Efe Ulukaan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 21 played minutes Silifke got a freekick which was hit by Aybar Olcaytug. Ahmet Efe Ulukaan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 played minutes Fenerbahçe SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Hakan Kaşif. Cüneyd Rıfkı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybar Olcaytug, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute, Fenerbahçe SK's Ahmet Efe Ulukaan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hamdullah Tapgaç. Hamdullah Tapgaç yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. 40 minutes into the game, Fenerbahçe SK's Mustafa Hakan Kaşif nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hamdullah Tapgaç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Mustafa Hakan Kaşif blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamdullah Tapgaç having to make a save. In the 47th minute Tayyar Gazir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyd Rıfkı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ahmet Efe Ulukaan made the kick off in the second half. Hamdullah Tapgaç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Efe Ulukaan in the 54th minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Mustafa Hakan Kaşif made a precise shot to the right of Hamdullah Tapgaç. Silifke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Poyraz Işınay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Cüneyd Rıfkı made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Tayyar Gazir notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Fenerbahçe SK's Cüneyd Rıfkı. Cüneyd Rıfkı was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Hakan Kaşif in the 70th minute of play forced Silifke's goalkeeper Hamdullah Tapgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hamdullah Tapgaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kadim Özduran, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Fenerbahçe SK's Bozkurt Mertoğul got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Poyraz Işınay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Silifke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Hamdullah Tapgaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rıfkı Ceri in the 81st minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Silifke's goal looked a bit too open when Rıfkı Ceri came free, but Hamdullah Tapgaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Poyraz Işınay in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cüneyd Rıfkı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 87 minutes into the match, Silifke's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Efe Ulukaan came free, but Hamdullah Tapgaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Beşir Zikri fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe SK's protests and gave Beşir Zikri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Silifke booed when Fenerbahçe SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beşir Zikri didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cüneyd Rıfkı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayyar Gazir in the 94th minute. After 95 played minutes Fenerbahçe SK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Hakan Kaşif. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fenerbahçe SK fully deserved thier win.
