Oğuzer Akçalı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tayyar Gazir, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Arın Lami's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Hamdullah Tapgaç firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 29 played minutes Akpinar got a freekick which was hit by Demir Akartuna. If Kahraman Paksu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kahraman Paksu during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Akpinar's Kahraman Paksu got a free kick in the 35th minute. Oğuzer Akçalı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Poyraz Işınay's shot from short distance in the 36th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Poyraz Işınay to strike the kick off in the second half. When Aybar Olcaytug came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Silifke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aybar Olcaytug couldn't finish the play. Poyraz Işınay struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Oğuzer Akçalı didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silifke. In the 57th minute, Kahraman Paksu made a precise shot to the right of Hamdullah Tapgaç. Silifke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Hamdullah Tapgaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kahraman Paksu in the 60th minute of play. After 62 played minutes, Akpinar's Demir Akartuna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hamdullah Tapgaç came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Akpinar reached it. After having played for 67 minutes, Poyraz Işınay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Silifke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Poyraz Işınay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Akpinar's goal looked a bit too open when Poyraz Işınay came free, but Oğuzer Akçalı reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nurtekin Taci in the 78th minute of play forced Silifke's goalkeeper Hamdullah Tapgaç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Poyraz Işınay kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oğuzer Akçalı. That made the score 1-1 in the 80 minute of play. Kahraman Paksu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamdullah Tapgaç having to interfere. During the 87th minute of the match Kahraman Paksu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Kahraman Paksu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 87th minute, Kahraman Paksu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90thth minute of the game Poyraz Işınay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Akpinar's Oğuzer Akçalı was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Silifke's goal looked a bit too open when Arın Lami came free, but Hamdullah Tapgaç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
