In the 25th minute, Altindag's Selman Fırat ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ziemowit Kaczanek. Ziemowit Kaczanek yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Selman Fırat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. In the 31st match minute, Altindag was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cumali Derdiyok to maneuver through the defense. Kadir Salim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferit Ongar's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Gönen FK's Ferit Ongar got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Cumali Derdiyok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fırat Tüzün hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ferit Ongar to make the kick off. Selman Fırat got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 66th minute, Selman Fırat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kutlualp Darcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İlhami Hastimur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadir Salim having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, one of Altindag:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Peli Ascargorta walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. In the 96th minute, Gürsel Ekemen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kadir Salim was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
