The audience thought a goal was coming when Ulaş Özbay got free with Mehmet Anıl Ulunay in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Ramazan Yatuk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Blakewell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Blakewell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramazan Yatuk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 83 played minutes Acıbadem SK got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Vefik Onurhan. Mehmet Anıl Ulunay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fatih Aytuğ went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Gelâtâserray's zone, Ejder Uygan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Blakewell came out of the goal and Ejder Uygan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ejder Uygan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fatih Aytuğ made in the 95th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Şinasi Başarman. 97 minutes into the match, Acıbadem SK's goal looked a bit too open when Şinasi Başarman came free, but Mehmet Anıl Ulunay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Gelâtâserray support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
