Batuğ Ersezen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulaş Özbay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. çolukçocuksipor's Batuğ Ersezen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 16th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berkant Resat during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gelâtâserray booed when çolukçocuksipor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkant Resat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Samir Tulum hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Nusret Çakman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Batuğ Ersezen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Aysan Torlak reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Peter Blakewell. The goal made the score 1-2. In the 29th minute Ulaş Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batuğ Ersezen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Gelâtâserray were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç to strike the kick off in the second half. Aysan Torlak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Peter Blakewell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aysan Torlak, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Aysan Torlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Peter Blakewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelâtâserray's Peter Blakewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osman Nuri Hezarfen in the 76th minute of play. Nusret Çakman charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nusret Çakman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gelâtâserray getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Nusret Çakman hit a great ball. After having played for 79 minutes, Aysan Torlak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. çolukçocuksipor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aysan Torlak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gelâtâserray's goalkeeper Peter Blakewell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Batuğ Ersezen having to make a save.
