Peter Blakewell came out of the goal and Aleksandr Baigozin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter Blakewell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şerif İcmal in the 16th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cemalettin Demir saved BoZKuRT SpOr from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Seyfettin Süner during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 19 minutes into the game, one of BoZKuRT SpOr:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Gelâtâserray a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nusret Çakman, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of BoZKuRT SpOr's Cemalettin Demir. 1-0. Cemalettin Demir didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Sedat Çetinsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Blakewell having to interfere. The BoZKuRT SpOr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cemalettin Demir should have stopped the shot.

When Serhan Irgat fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BoZKuRT SpOr's protests and gave Serhan Irgat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 56th minute there was a penalty for Gelâtâserray. Nusret Çakman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cemalettin Demir. 4-1. Gelâtâserray's Peter Blakewell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aleksandr Baigozin in the 64th minute of play. Aleksandr Baigozin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Blakewell having to interfere. Peter Blakewell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şerif İcmal's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 76th minute Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cemalettin Demir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cemalettin Demir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arif Gaffar Tanyolaç in the 77th minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, Gelâtâserray's Fatih Aytuğ made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cemalettin Demir was left in no man's land by his defense there! 88 minutes into the match, BoZKuRT SpOr's goal looked a bit too open when Fatih Aytuğ came free, but Cemalettin Demir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sedat Çetinsoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peter Blakewell having to interfere. Sedat Çetinsoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Peter Blakewell made a huge save. Şerif İcmal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Peter Blakewell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Blakewell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şerif İcmal in the 99th minute. Gelâtâserray's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
