But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüsrev Aydınalp couldn't finish the play. If Boğaçhan Uluşahin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saruhan Çoğun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yenal Çiltay in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Çelebi Sazak left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bulanik fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 38 minutes into the match, Bahçelievler's goal looked a bit too open when Boğaçhan Uluşahin came free, but Ahmet Haşim Ulum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
