Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Malazgirt SK's Latif Tankoç started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Balamir Saraçoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Selim Yanar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 played minutes Bahçelievler got a freekick which was hit by Altan Asya. In the 11th minute, Hüsrev Aydınalp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bahçelievler's Yenal Çiltay in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malazgirt SK's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Malazgirt SK getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Sancarbey Sancaktar hit a great ball. If Yenal Çiltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Latif Tankoç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balamir Saraçoğlu during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Balamir Saraçoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the match, Bahçelievler's goal looked a bit too open when Latif Tankoç came free, but Ahmet Haşim Ulum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Bahçelievler's Yenal Çiltay got a free kick in the 40th minute. If Hüsrev Aydınalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the game, Burhan Övünç was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bahçelievler's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Malazgirt SK the free kick. The supporters of Malazgirt SK booed when Bahçelievler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burhan Övünç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 50 minutes Bahçelievler's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ali Emir Aktemur who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Ali Emir Aktemur got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ahmet Haşim Ulum quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

If Selim Yanar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Haşim Ulum didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Derviş Habiboğlu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Burhan Övünç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emin Sonalp showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Malazgirt SK defense, Hüsrev Aydınalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emin Sonalp. The Malazgirt SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emin Sonalp should have stopped the shot. If Yenal Çiltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hüsrev Aydınalp blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emin Sonalp having to make a save. A collision led to Malazgirt SK getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Kutlu Seyran hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bahçelievler's zone, Selim Yanar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Haşim Ulum came out of the goal and Selim Yanar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bahçelievler's Hüsrev Aydınalp got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Balamir Saraçoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Bahçelievler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Balamir Saraçoğlu couldn't finish the play. Latif Tankoç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Haşim Ulum having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
