Emin Sonalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birant Eroğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Egespor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Latif Tankoç could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ali Ulubay made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rudy Pérus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Selim Yanar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Malazgirt SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Selim Yanar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Latif Tankoç in the 54th minute of play forced Egespor's goalkeeper Ali Ulubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Malazgirt SK's Emin Sonalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Malazgirt SK from getting a goal against them. With his leg Emin Sonalp managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Egespor's Rudy Pérus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 75 minutes into the game, Egespor's Rudy Pérus nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emin Sonalp made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Ali Ulubay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Latif Tankoç in the 79th minute of the match. In the 88th match minute, Egespor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cumhur Vaha to maneuver through the defense. Ali Ulubay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Selim Yanar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Birant Eroğlu in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emin Sonalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
