Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Esat Pozan took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Onurhan Baysungur recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arif Tugay Özboga. Onurhan Baysungur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. If Şenol Sunullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Edeler FC booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onurhan Baysungur didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çelik Sadri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esat Pozan in the 21st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Edeler FC's zone, Mithat Sezal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Tugay Özboga came out of the goal and Mithat Sezal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mücahit Oğuzer took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arif Tugay Özboga. Arif Tugay Özboga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Galatasaray's Çelik Sadri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esat Pozan in the 30th minute of play. Arif Tugay Özboga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şenol Sunullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Şenol Sunullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arif Tugay Özboga made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Onurhan Baysungur sent off a good shot on target. 45 minutes into the match, Mücahit Oğuzer notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Edeler FC's Arif Tugay Özboga. Arif Tugay Özboga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Onurhan Baysungur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Çelik Sadri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Süruri İlkay in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Esat Pozan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çelik Sadri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Edeler FC's goalkeeper Arif Tugay Özboga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arif Tugay Özboga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mücahit Oğuzer went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Arif Tugay Özboga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onurhan Baysungur in the 67th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mücahit Oğuzer in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arif Tugay Özboga saved Edeler FC from getting behind. Edeler FC's Arif Tugay Özboga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mücahit Oğuzer in the 70th minute of play. If Şenol Sunullah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute of the match Esat Pozan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Çelik Sadri skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Edeler FC's zone, Onurhan Baysungur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Tugay Özboga came out of the goal and Onurhan Baysungur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Batıray Artan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Edeler FC's zone, Mücahit Oğuzer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arif Tugay Özboga came out of the goal and Mücahit Oğuzer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Mücahit Oğuzer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arif Tugay Özboga. Edeler FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mücahit Oğuzer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Edeler FC's Arif Tugay Özboga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mücahit Oğuzer in the 93rd minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Galatasaray had played much better football throughout.
