Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling King Ferdinand in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yıldırım Özbilge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saadettin Uluman might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yıldırım Özbilge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saadettin Uluman ran back to his position shaking his head. If Saadettin Uluman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yıldırım Özbilge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's goal looked a bit too open when Batuhan Songurhan came free, but Hamdullah Gezer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When King Ferdinand came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Karagümrük fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that King Ferdinand couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that King Ferdinand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yıldırım Özbilge was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Hamdullah Gezer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuhan Songurhan in the 24th minute of play. King Ferdinand struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Yıldırım Özbilge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karagümrük. Karagümrük's Hamdullah Gezer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batuhan Songurhan in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Yeşilova SK booed when Karagümrük was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göksel Türkdoğan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 played minutes Yeşilova SK got a freekick which was hit by Servet Dilazad. In the 36th minute, one of Karagümrük:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Karagümrük. 39 minutes into the game, Cankut Tatu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Hamdullah Gezer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Saadettin Uluman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Yıldırım Özbilge made a huge save. Saadettin Uluman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Yıldırım Özbilge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saadettin Uluman was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Yeşilova SK getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Servet Dilazad hit a great ball. Yeşilova SK's Yıldırım Özbilge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saadettin Uluman in the 57th minute of play. Yıldırım Özbilge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş in the 64th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Yeşilova SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Mehmet Çeliktaş came free, but Yıldırım Özbilge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Karagümrük booed when Yeşilova SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Necati Hallaç didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yıldırım Özbilge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saadettin Uluman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hamdullah Gezer made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Mustafa Necati Hallaç sent off a good shot on target. If Saadettin Uluman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saadettin Uluman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yıldırım Özbilge having to interfere. In the 84thth minute of the game Saadettin Uluman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yeşilova SK's Yıldırım Özbilge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saadettin Uluman scored 1-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yıldırım Özbilge, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 89th minute Saadettin Uluman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yıldırım Özbilge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karagümrük's Saadettin Uluman got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Behzat Neşat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karagümrük walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
