Ahmet Seyfi Subutay came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Hamdullah Gezer could save by the left post. Eralp Urangu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Cabbar Özgenalp took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saadettin Uluman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's goalkeeper Hamdullah Gezer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kamuran Sakman. The supporters of Atasehir booed when Karagümrük was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yüksel Rasim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Karagümrük's goalkeeper Hamdullah Gezer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ahmet Seyfi Subutay. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling King Ferdinand in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cabbar Özgenalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saadettin Uluman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cabbar Özgenalp having to interfere. Saadettin Uluman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

53 minutes in the game, King Ferdinand fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Cabbar Özgenalp having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Atasehir's goal looked a bit too open when King Ferdinand came free, but Cabbar Özgenalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Karagümrük's Saadettin Uluman got a free kick in the 85th minute. Atasehir's defense didn't have a chance, in the 86th minute, when King Ferdinand scored to the left of an out of position Cabbar Özgenalp, making the score, 0-4. With a little luck, Atasehir's Cabbar Özgenalp got control of the ball when Saadettin Uluman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saadettin Uluman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Cabbar Özgenalp made a huge save. When Şafak Alp fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atasehir's protests and gave Şafak Alp a yellow card for diving instead. Saadettin Uluman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Cabbar Özgenalp made a huge save. The Atasehir fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Karagümrük were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
