In the 3rd minute, Arif Kamver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 4 minutes, Mustafa İzzet Akdurmuş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TİREBOLU and the Trabzonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Berkant Erboy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hürkan Osmanoğlu in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Serhan Timurkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Trabzonspor booed when TİREBOLU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batıhan Tevfik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arif Kamver took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Berkant Erboy. Berkant Erboy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in TİREBOLU's zone, Fehmi Sarpkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berkant Erboy came out of the goal and Fehmi Sarpkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TİREBOLU's Berkant Erboy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedrettin Yücel in the 17th minute of play. Bedrettin Yücel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Batıhan Tevfik kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. TİREBOLU's Berkant Erboy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hürkan Osmanoğlu in the 24th minute of play. Berkant Erboy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fehmi Sarpkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Bedrettin Yücel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berkant Erboy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vacib Kabak's late challenge caught a Trabzonspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vacib Kabak helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to TİREBOLU getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vacib Kabak hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hürkan Osmanoğlu in the 42nd minute of play forced TİREBOLU's goalkeeper Berkant Erboy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vacib Kabak kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bedrettin Yücel was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arif Kamver got free with Berkant Erboy in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fehmi Sarpkan in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berkant Erboy prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Bedrettin Yücel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute, Trabzonspor's Fehmi Sarpkan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Berkant Erboy. Berkant Erboy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Trabzonspor played a much better game than TİREBOLU and deserved their victory. The TİREBOLU players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
