After a defensive mix-up in Atasehir's zone, Mustafa İzzet Akdurmuş stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cabbar Özgenalp came out of the goal and Mustafa İzzet Akdurmuş tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 15th match minute, Atasehir was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arkın Uzalp to maneuver through the defense. Kamuran Sakman might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Berkant Erboy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kamuran Sakman ran back to his position shaking his head. Berkant Erboy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kamuran Sakman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Eralp Urangu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Berkant Erboy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kamuran Sakman in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berkant Erboy saved TİREBOLU from getting behind. Atasehir's Kamuran Sakman got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ahmet Seyfi Subutay's late challenge caught a TİREBOLU's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Seyfi Subutay helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of TİREBOLU booed when Atasehir was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Seyfi Subutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mustafa İzzet Akdurmuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cabbar Özgenalp having to interfere. Eralp Urangu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berkant Erboy having to interfere. Atasehir's Kamuran Sakman got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, TİREBOLU's goal looked a bit too open when Eralp Urangu came free, but Berkant Erboy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Atasehir were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa İzzet Akdurmuş to make the kick off.
