Horst Heinrich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zülfikar Akgün in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the game, Karapinar's Zülfikar Akgün nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horst Heinrich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If Acar Türkmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the match, Ümraniye FK's goal looked a bit too open when Zülfikar Akgün came free, but Horst Heinrich reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Ahmet Yahya Remiz made a precise shot to the right of Horst Heinrich. Ümraniye FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Ahmet Yahya Remiz charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ahmet Yahya Remiz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Karapinar getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Ahmet Yahya Remiz hit a great ball. 32 minutes in the game, Acar Türkmen dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Acar Türkmen came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ümraniye FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Acar Türkmen couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes into the match, Karapinar's goal looked a bit too open when Acar Türkmen came free, but Arda Ünsev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Ümraniye FK got a freekick which was hit by Armağan Erduran. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Koray Erincer made the kick off in the second half. Zülfikar Akgün recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Ali Erdem Öktürk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karapinar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ümraniye FK the free kick. The supporters of Ümraniye FK booed when Karapinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ali Erdem Öktürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. Davut Zihni missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 62 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Arda Ünsev right hand side. A hard shot by Harun Neşet from long distance, 65 minutes into the match, got Horst Heinrich's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 68 minutes into the game, Karapinar's Zülfikar Akgün nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horst Heinrich made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a defensive mix-up in Karapinar's zone, Acar Türkmen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arda Ünsev came out of the goal and Acar Türkmen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Yahya Remiz hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Acar Türkmen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Arda Ünsev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Karapinar got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Yahya Remiz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zülfikar Akgün got free with Horst Heinrich in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 83 in the game by Zülfikar Akgün from a close distance when the talented Horst Heinrich managed to make a qualified save. Ümraniye FK's players were relieved. Zülfikar Akgün could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Horst Heinrich made a huge save. Davut Zihni hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Arda Ünsev stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Acar Türkmen's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. In the 97th minute, Jonas Haritzeder got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Zülfikar Akgün managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karapinar's supporters rose to their feet, but Zülfikar Akgün was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Horst Heinrich breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Karapinar eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
