The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes T O K T A Ğ A N got a freekick which was hit by Nuri Zeyyat. 8 minutes into the game, Beyhan Sait was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karapinar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave T O K T A Ğ A N the free kick. After 8 played minutes Karapinar got a freekick which was hit by Beyhan Sait. Ahmet Arif Adaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koray Erincer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Koray Erincer in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet Arif Adaş saved T O K T A Ğ A N from getting behind. Zülfikar Akgün kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. T O K T A Ğ A N's Ahmet Arif Adaş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koray Erincer in the 24th minute of play. In the 30th minute Onur Saadettin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Ünsev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ahmet Arif Adaş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zülfikar Akgün in the 31st minute. When T O K T A Ğ A N's Gencay Zaid in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gencay Zaid hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, T O K T A Ğ A N's goal looked a bit too open when Koray Erincer came free, but Ahmet Arif Adaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Arif Adaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Yahya Remiz in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Koray Erincer to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes T O K T A Ğ A N got a freekick which was hit by Nuri Zeyyat. Anıl Arda Zeynel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Arif Adaş. T O K T A Ğ A N's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of T O K T A Ğ A N:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Karapinar:s goal. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Karapinar. Anıl Arda Zeynel stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Arif Adaş. 1-0. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ahmet Yahya Remiz put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ahmet Arif Adaş. An unexpectedly hard shot by Koray Erincer in the 74th minute of play forced T O K T A Ğ A N's goalkeeper Ahmet Arif Adaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the game, Koray Erincer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ahmet Arif Adaş was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 85 minutes, Zülfikar Akgün mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karapinar and the T O K T A Ğ A N players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a little luck, Karapinar's Arda Ünsev got control of the ball when Onur Saadettin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Beyhan Sait recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 92 minutes into the match, T O K T A Ğ A N's goal looked a bit too open when Koray Erincer came free, but Ahmet Arif Adaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erkan Saraçoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Karapinar fans cheered their team off the field, for while T O K T A Ğ A N had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
